New go-kart track opens its doors in Stevenston

Speed fans in Stevenston can now enjoy a treat in the town, with the opening of the new West Coast Karts centre.

The new centre, which is the only twin-track of its kind in Scotland is on the site of a former factory in Stevenston industrial estate.

The man who has developed and opened the new centre is Scott McGlinchey, who has installed 22 petrol karts and top quality timing equipment at the state-of-the-art centre.
