Disappointment as finances force cancellation of Stevenston's fireworks

This bonfire night will be a less spectacular affair in Stevenston, with the news that the traditional Three Towns fireworks display will not be held this year due to financial constraints.

Organisers were forced to cancel this year's events due to difficulties in securing funding for the display, which last year was held at the Harbour on the Braes, Saltcoats.
