“My buddy Bert McMahon, he is the guy with the kilt on played Bonnie Prince Charlie and I am on the last guy top to right playing a soldier. We came in 2nd in the contest which was throughout Ayrshire , because Bert was supposed to have been chased all through the highlands, but look at him, he has not a hair out of place.
"We had a lot of fun back then when Ardeer factory sent us to school at Ardeer Recreational hall in Stevenston we went once a week back in 1964. Is the club still there or has it been torn down for housing ?"

My buddy Bert McMahon, he is the guy with the kilt on played Bonnie prince Charlie and I am on the last guy top to right playing a soldier. We came in 2nd in the contest which was throught Ayrshire, because Bert was supposed to have been chased all through the highlands, but look at him, he has not a hair out of place. We had some good times back then.
