lost relative

by james brown
Hi There, My Father has lost contact with a cousin over the years, and I have been tying to do family research. We are looking for info on a Doreen McLellan, who I believe live in 24 High Road Stevenston in the 1970's.

Any info would be greatfully recieved, this was her mothers house that she moved into, previously stayed in Kilwinning, have just found this address on the inside of an old Christmas card whilst clearing out for new Year.

Many Thanks
James Brown

Lost Relative:

James,

This is probably a long shot as I am just putting names together.  My mom is Moira Scott Brown- her father was Gilbert Brown brother of David Brown who married Jeanie McLellan.  I'm not sure if we are related but I came across this post and noticed the Brown/McLellan connection.  My mom moved to the USA in the late 1950's and has lost all contact with family in Scotland.

Regards,

Jocelyn Stebbins

Interesting thought will have to look more into this. But I do not have any more details of her. Will let you know.

Have your say...

Memories, Nostalgia & History

History doesn't have to be in black & white

Your memory of a local character or a school photo from the last ten years can be just as interesting as wars and Victorians.
